*EDIT* (finally). I guess I should finally add that I DID adopt Sultan, and he is my pony now, and he has been for a year and a month and a half now
Everybody, here he is! My sweet, special Sultan ::hugs him:: This is my old man. He's the 30-something year old pinto pony gelding at my university that I have a special love for. I love him to pieces, and make time at least once a week to take him on a nice long walk so he can gum on the clover (he can't eat grass, for he has very few teeth left). And several times a week, I take him down to the sand round pen, where he is especially fond of going for a nice roll
He has been semi-retired from being ridden, and to my great fear, he's been put up for adoption. I was really hoping they'd wait til I graduate next year, for I'd take him in a heartbeat and would find a place to keep him and would give him the best retirement a horse could ask for. I fear going back to school after break, because I don't know what I'll do if he's not there....
As for the painting, I am also very proud. I started it and finished it all tonight... now that it's 4:30 in the morning (That only happens once in a blue moon. I'm the queen of unfinished projects). I'm very pleased with it, even though I went a bit overboard with his winter coat fur. If only I'd sit down and do more artwork.... I'm so rusty, and it shows
Drawn & painted in Photoshop, because I still can't figure out &*@#$ corel painter.
Edit: oops, forgot to add whiskers.
